Can't even sit comfortably for any time at all at this point let along lie down without pain. It's all just nuts how things changed so fast. I'm not a happy camper. Sorry to hear about the disc issue...That sucks...I will be 45 in a few weeks and still work out 3-to-4 days a week and play baseball during the spring/summer in a 25-and-over league and 35-and-over and I cannot imagine being shut down for months...I had major surgery 3 years ago that kept me out of active sports for 2 1/2 months, but it was the offseason thankfully between baseball and basketball, but I remember that was not fun at all...

I'll keep you in my prayers for a quicker recovery than expected as that sounds like a very frustrating and painful injury...I hope it turns around quick for ya and I hope they can do something for you to offset the pain...

Thanks for the reply man.

Yeah I play ice hockey 3 times a week in similar leagues that you do agewise and also train goalies with my buddy at least once a week which can usually be more strenuous than the games. I play through the summer twice a week too, do a lot more intense goalie training more times a week and play several tourneys along the way. Last time I was not able to exercise for a long period of time I went down the drain in a lot of ways. I would not want to be living with me if this happens again. It ain't pretty.

So yeah we'll see what happens. Went to GP doctor yesterday and he went in 180 degrees direction with it. It's just a groin strain according to him, etc. You'll be fine in a couple of weeks. I drilled him about the pain movement - no go. He poked and prodded me all over and no pain - only when I move and shit. So no scan, no meds, nothing. I wish he was right - man do I wish he was right. But I've had those groin strains before so I know this ain't it. I can handle it though if I am wrong!!!

So going to go see my Physiotherapist next week. He knows his shit and I know he'll decide this so I can move on. I doubt my doctor will listen to me if he says it is a spinal issue so I'll have to scrape up $1000 to get an MRI done in a private clinic if it is my back. Ugh. Like I have that kind of dough sitting around. But oh well - one day at a time!

EJ dude - I would love to have started a thread but I'd just be guessing at this point. I mean you know my record with this tourney I think - I mean I rarely miss when I am up to speed.
